Aspiga is a company founded by Lucy Macnamara after her stay in Kenya back in 2006 that produces handmade beachwear items. She was just trilled with the looks of Kenyan traditional footwear and decided to promote that style to the world. It turned out that she was not the only one that was impressed by the style as the company rapidly grew in the past five years. Today you can find over 500 Aspiga boutiques throughout the world. All of the items are produced in Kenya by small work groups. The range of the products has evolved in the past couple of years expanding from only footwear to huge variety of beachwear and accessories.
